Gabriel is a current first-year MFA candidate in the acting program at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. He is also a graduate of the University of Melbourne, Victorian College of the Arts, where he completed his BFA in acting.
Gabriel’s theatre credits include Ghosts (Theatre Works), in which he played Oswald Alving, Hyacinth (Kissing Booth/Theatre Works), Stuck (Midsumma Festival), Lord of the Flies (Arts Centre Melbourne), Henry VI (Prague Shakespeare Company), and MOTHERLOD_^E (Frenzy Theatre Co.).
Gabriel has worked extensively in independent film, and his lead credits include Heart Throb (GGG Films), Splinters (Midnight Toast), One Tiger, Two Tiger, Red Tiger, Blue Tiger, Two Bodies (MIFF Play), and After Party, among others. He was awarded Best Actor at the Setting Sun International Film Festival for his performance as Grey in Heart Throb, and his short film Quiet (St Kilda Film Festival) has garnered upwards of 1.7 million views on YouTube.
Gabriel was born in Philadelphia and raised in Melbourne. He holds dual Australian and US citizenships.
